Antonio Carusone is a Creative Director, born and raised in Queens, NY into a colorful Italian family and has been in the creative arts since he was a child. He first studied at the High School of Art & Design where he discovered his passion for digital art. His early love for 3D animation led him into motion and web design. After studying at the Academy of Art in San Francisco, and Pratt Institute in New York City, he decided to focus his career on graphic and interactive design.
Since then, Antonio has worked at Draft, BBDO, Big Spaceship, Ogilvy & Mather and has produced award-winning work for clients such as American Express, Time Warner Cable, Jose Cuervo, Audi, Verizon Wireless, IKEA, NASCAR, Cisco, Aetna, Nestle, Blackrock, Sony Pictures and Miramax.
Currently, Antonio is an Associate Creative Director at AKQA in NYC where he focuses on interactive, UX and mobile design.
Antonio is also the author of AisleOne, a popular blog focused on graphic design and typography, and The Grid System, an ever-growing resource on grid systems.
